The TDC works with local tourism related industries to promote Hamilton County. Our main focus is nature and heritage tourism.
The Hamilton county TDC is composed of a 10 member board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and is funded by the 3% Tourist Development (bed) Tax collected on overnight lodging. The TDC assists groups such as the Hamilton County Riding Club, the Old Jail Museum, Wild Blackberry Festival, Jennings Peanut Festival, Wild Azalea Festival, and Sweets n the Streets with grants for specific events throughout the year.
